The Key To A Life Well Lived!

Inspiration and Motivation
Just think how happy we would be if we were able to follow these guidelines. Certainly something to strive for!
What if you could treat everyone the same without ever noticing if they are rich or poor, thin or not so thin, never noticing the color of their skin or considering their religion?
What if it didn’t matter if your home is big or small or if you lived in the right neighborhood?
What if you were willing to gladly sit for hours, just enjoying being together, no entertainment or conversation needed?
What if it didn’t matter that you had a terrible beginning in life, you are unwilling to hold a grudge against your tormentor and continued to love without conditions?
What if you could take criticism and blame without resenting others?
What if you could live each day not worrying how you looked or what others were thinking of you?
What if you never complained or bored people with your troubles?
What if you could sleep soundly without the assistance of liquor or drugs and be alert without caffeine?
What if you were served the exact same meal everyday but were always grateful for something to eat?
What if as you aged you remained happy! Even though it slowed you down you never complained to others about getting older or about achy joints or pain? You were happy to participate in any event!
What if when you died you could say honestly that you never lied to or cheated anyone?
If you could do all of these things, then you would be your dog.
Maybe we humans could take a lesson from our gentle,
beloved companions. There is a reason that we love our pets unconditionally – because they love us unconditionally!
We can make our lives so complicated at times. Maybe occasionally we need to simplify things while stopping to ask ourselves; how would my dog handle this?
